The Akatsuki organization in the Naruto series can be considered evil due to their goal of capturing and extracting the tailed beasts, which would result in widespread destruction and chaos. Their members have committed various heinous acts, such as murder and manipulation, in pursuit of their objectives. However, some members have shown complexity and depth in their characters, blurring the lines between good and evil. Ultimately, it is up to individual interpretation whether the Akatsuki as a whole can be labeled as purely evil. **

No, Akatsuki does not ultimately succeed in capturing Naruto. Throughout the series, Akatsuki makes multiple attempts to capture Naruto in order to extract the Nine-Tails demon fox sealed within him, but Naruto is able to evade or defeat them each time with the help of his friends and allies. Naruto's determination and growth as a ninja allow him to outsmart and overpower the members of Akatsuki, preventing them from achieving their goal of capturing him. **

In the Naruto series, several members of the Akatsuki organization survived until the end of the series. These include characters such as Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, and Konan. However, many other members of Akatsuki met their demise throughout the series due to various circumstances. Overall, the survival of Akatsuki members varied, with some managing to survive until the end while others did not. **

This Akatsuki member is Itachi Uchiha, a former member of the Uchiha clan from the Naruto series. He is a highly skilled ninja with a mysterious and complex past, making him one of the most intriguing characters in the series. **

Itachi Uchiha joins Akatsuki after the Uchiha clan massacre, which he carried out under the orders of Konoha's leadership. Itachi's joining of Akatsuki is part of his plan to keep an eye on the organization and gather information to protect Konoha. He becomes a member of Akatsuki prior to the start of the Naruto series and is already established as a high-ranking member when the series begins. **
